December 21st, 2003
OUCH- Well Ladies and Gentleman I have some rather sad news regarding the film THE APOCALYPSE, with Bruce and Richard Harris. I went to the post today to pick up the film and my excitement soon turned to dismay as the film progressively went around in my VCR. Bruce did look like a Roman GOD and he could have passed off as one of the classical sculptures that have withstood the test of time, however this film will not withhold such a relation with time. Last night I had finished watching HELEN OF TROY, with Rufus Sewell (fav film 'IN A SAVAGE LAND'), the interesting Stellan Skarsgård and John Rhys-Davies, who looks great with all of the weight he's lost! I thought the pacing, the fighting, and the over all look went well with the Troy film. There were a lot of technical things wrong with APOCALYPSE which bothered me immensely such as the sound sync. It was off by a 10th of a second. I was going to send a copy of the film to a sound buddy but it's going to drive him nuts. The special effects were very nasty. Ouch! And they focused too much on the "religion". Hmmmm, having endured enough religion in my youth, how do I explain this. There should have been more of a counterbalance between the 'GODS', such as Bruce's character proclaimed himself as, and "God". What I liked about HELEN OF TROY was the subtleness of 'THE GODS'. They didn't make it a story of the 'GODS', but as an accent to peoples beliefs. THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST was a very good film and I am looking forward to Mel Gibson's film on Christ. However, no one will be able to top Monty Python's THE LIFE OF BRIAN. With that said, the part which was the most upsetting in APOC, WHERE WAS BRUCE? He had such a great impact at the beginning of the film, but where was he for the rest of it? His minion, Quintus (I believe was his name), had more screen time than Bruce. Was it the editing? I thought Bruce's Character of Caesar would have had more play within the film. Anyone honestly could order a copy in Italian, which is available right now, and get the gist of the film. Sorry to Bruce and Richard, but this film is NOT one of my favourites. Bruce had more time in Ravager, for those who know me know I have a distaste for that film. Alex had a better time of it when he was forced to wear that eye contraption during his re-conditiong in A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. I have grabbed images of Bruce, I wasn't going to grab anything as I am that disappointed, however it's not his fault. Bruce would have indeed given John Hurt and Derek Jacobi a run for their Roman Piousness in I, CLAUDIUS. I will leave it here. Sigh...... You can click here to view. I am very thrilled that ONE POINT O will be at the SundanceFestival! I am looking forward to seeing that film indeed. This is Bruce's ring that he wore in HELLBORN. It has a good weight and great craftsmanship. Very well made and way too big for my own hand.
This is one of the patches worn in HELLBORN. I know a few people who should be enlisted into St. Andrews.
Check out the scene from SWITCH that was never in the film but was in the trailer.
December 8th, 2003 Merry Christmas- Happy Holidays Everyone! 'Tis the season for Santa films. Elf is cool, Bad Santa had its moments. Check out Lavada's newly published Book, of which the main character was written with Bruce in mind. I am asking for my copy for Christmas! You GO GURL! As I've already told you, I'm very proud of you!:*) Soon I'll be starting a new 'news' page for 2004, which also means it will load quicker! WHOO HOO! I found this in the AGWLBP archives. I've had it for almost 6 years... what a find! From the St. Louis Post (A-B is Anheiser-Busch, the beer co.) We Will Never Get Beat' When A-B thought of ice beer, it thought of how Miller humiliated the company in the mid-1970s with Miller Lite, the product that made light beer a best-seller. August Busch IV, a top executive at the brewing dynasty, explained during the trial how A-B had trailed Miller on light beer and lost huge profits. "Miller Brewing began the category here in the United States with Lite," he said. "We passed them after 12 years, 1994 with Bud Light, to become the world's largest selling light beer. It took a long time to do because Miller Lite was out there for a very long period of time . . . before we actually had the guts to go out and introduce" light beers. Busch explained in court last month why A-B hurried to sell a new and untested product. "As aggressive as the beer business has become as of late and after we've been taught a 12-year lesson, we will never get beat to the marketplace if there's anything we can do about it," Busch said. A-B knew in 1993 that Miller was working on an ice beer. "We were very concerned," Busch said. "They were going to the marketplace very rapidly, and we needed to get to the marketplace before they did so we didn't suffer that same fate (as) with Bud Light." One hundred people went to work almost immediately on A-B's ice beer project, code-named "Windy City." An advertising campaign was ready before there was any beer to sell. Busch oversaw the creation of the television commercials. He chose the Jesus and Mary Chain, a band noted for its shrieking feedback, and Bruce Payne, an actor who played a terrorist in the movie "Passenger 57." Busch said he liked Payne "because he had a very sinister type personality. We wanted to have a very evil type spokesperson in this type of campaign." A-B told its brewmaster to create a beer-making process that involved ice. The brewery quickly devised a way to marry beer and ice. After the beer was fermented, 20 percent was drawn off, frozen for a time, thawed and added to the remaining 80 percent of the beer. In other words, out of any quart of Ice Draft from Budweiser, less than seven ounces are actually frozen. A-B has never before acknowledged this. Windy City was renamed Ice Draft from Budweiser and A-B went on to spend $80 million introducing its new product beginning in late 1993. It expected Ice Draft to be an instant smash, as its Bud Dry had been. "We expect the first year to be at or above Bud Dry's first year, which was 3.2 million barrels," Busch told reporters in 1993. That would make Ice Draft one of the best-selling beers in America. November 22nd, 2003 The SEXIEST MAN ALIVE - This Millennium!

Keen Eddie in the UK- ** In the UK- Keen Eddie is starting on Sky One Mix in the UK on Sunday 2nd November at 8pm. Bruce's episode should be on Sunday 9th November. Thanks Debbie for the info! There is a Children's Film called Little Heroes THAT Bruce is NOT in. It's a typo in the credits online! Keen Eddie - ABC Will be creating a show similar to the Keen Eddie concept and will have most of the same cast from the show. I also believe that Simon West is also behind this new show. This is very good news for the Keen Fans. I don't know when it will be or what the name of the show will be called. BRAVO to Bravo for picking up Keen Eddie. A lot of people enjoyed watching Eddie. Crocodile Bond !- There seems to be a Cocky Croc in Germany who likes to think he's got a chance for the Bond Role... Poor Regine will now have to deal with Rudi's BIG EGO now that I've posted his image online. Regine would he be happy with being the BAB mascot? wink wink
October 29th, 2003 Speaks for itself !- 'Keen Eddie' Gets Second Life on Bravo, DVD By Brian Ford Sullivan CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- Bravo has picked up the broadcast rights to FOX's short-lived dramedy "Keen Eddie." The cable network will air all 13 episodes of the series, six of which never aired on FOX, beginning in January at the earliest. In addition, the Paramount-distributed series has been slated for a DVD release however no street date has been set. The NBC-owned cable channel reportedly paid just $50,000 per episode for the one-year window, which includes the right to repeat each episode several times a week. Insiders expect Bravo to pair "Eddie" with smash hit "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" on Tuesday nights however no time slot has been officially announced. The sale to Bravo and the DVD release are both seen as efforts by Paramount to recoup the production costs of the series as most shows don't become profitable until after several years on the air. Don't expect Bravo to order episodes beyond the 13 produced for FOX however, as fresh installments would run 15-20 times the cost of the repeat rights. Overall for its seven week run this summer on FOX, the series averaged just 4.9 million viewers and a 2.2 rating and 6 share among adults 18-49. Nevertheless, should even half that number tune into the Bravo run it would be a major success. This is very good news indeed!

August 11th, 2003 NEWS - Check out the new Bruce Wallpaper by Crk_Girl. I have found contacts for the film THE BROTHEL as well as NEWTON'S LAW, however I am not sure if they are still current. I have my fingers and toes crossed that I hear back so that I will be able to keep everyone informed on these two well awaited films! I CANNOT wait to see these!!! PIRATE BRUCE -A VERY DEAR FRIEND requested that I make an image of Bruce as a Pirate for the Sequel to PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. She also wanted me to place a list like what I have for Bond, of which I have obliged and AM VERY INTERESTED to know what everyone else thinks as well. JERRY BRUCKHEIMER SHOULD CAST BRUCE IN THE NEXT FILM. HE WOULD MAKE A FINE PIRATE INDEED! I
had to borrow from Geoffrey Rush's character, however I think Bruce looks mighty
fine matey! Shiver me timbers to me boots!
August 8th, 2003 Keen Eddie - CORRECTION KEEN EDDIE IS NOW ON THURSDAY NIGHTS AT 8 PM ON FOX! I hope they keep to their promise and keep the show unlike what they did to "Greg the Bunny" (A VERY COOL SHOW) last summer. I've backed up the KE website... just in case. I've already missed an episode due to this TV tango Fox likes to throw at its viewers. AUGUST 28th is when it should be on if it's not showing up on Thursdays! Please keep an eye out for it! CLICK HERE TO VIEW A SAVE KEEN EDDIE WEBSITE! This is what Tv To Me States: (They agree re: Greg the Bunny) August 04, 2003 Unfortunately, Keen Eddie has now officially been put on hiatus once the new season starts. The ratings have been poor (70 out of 106, sometimes a little better, sometimes worse), so they bumped it to Thursday, where nobody is finding it. Now they've decided they can make money dumping specials and other programs into this timeslot. The show is not on Fox's fall lineup. Fox has not officially cancelled it yet, so it could do a "Family Guy" and re-appear next summer (unlikely), but unfortunately it is taking the same kind of trip that "Greg the Bunny" took, except faster. At least with Greg, they tried it on a few different nights to attract a new audience. When that didn't work, they pre-empted it constantly, then burned off the last of the initial order of shows on off nights, and buried it. Unfortunately, Keen Eddie is too low rated to secure a fall time slot. Those idiotic reality shows prove just how stupid American viewers are - Bug Attack! and 101 Things Removed from the Human Body were both TOP 5 shows last week. Fox research claims younger viewers see the show as "too foreign" and lack youth characters (a-la UPN's Xtreme boys and WB's girls). The show will be lack in late August to (hopefully) burn off the last six episodes. The O.C. (new time slot, after 24 comes back on Tuesday) will take over its usual timeslot this fall on Thursday, bumping Keen Eddie (again.) BREAK - Lads and Lasses I'll be taking a wee break for the next bit to catch the last rays of summer. There's got to be enough to hold y'all for awhile! I will get the videos off to the people I have promised them to! And posters... heh heh! Sandy and Stacey, I have seen the photos you sent. Ladies, you are indeed very lovely! Please email away, but it may be awhile until I reply back!
Whoa... where's my water bottle? Adonis indeed! August 2nd, 2003 HELLBORN - I have spent the whole day watching and gathering from Hellborn. Please click here to read what I thought as well as listen to a few audio bits and take a peak at a few photos. Thank you Lynn! Enjoy! My version of the Hellborn Poster. July 30th , 2003 NOTE - I don't know if it's hot where you live at... I'm one wilted flower over here and not doing much of anything. Does anyone know a rain dance? Aside from the heat, I have a few notes to make... Hellborn should be at my doorstep by the end of the week. Whoo hoo! Also, an Operatic version of Greek by Steven Berkoff should be here soon. THAT I am very intrigued with. No, Bruce is not singing in this... an interesting thought though. Hmmmm.... Anyone watch the new Pirate flick with Depp? Very well done film... which reiterates my comment and hope of seeing Bruce in a Bruckheimer film. Maybe I should give Jerry a call? Ahahahaa.... I wish I had his number to let him know about Bruce. Anyone? Bruce should be on Spooks in BBC land on August 4th or 5th, I cannot recall, and on another BBC channel on August 10th or 11th. OF COURSE I'll be getting a copy from a wonderful woman in the UK! She's been very kind in offering a copy for me! An early birthday present indeed! What do you think about MI-5 on A and E? Over 3 million people caught the 1st episode! Kudos to the show. BTW, Kudos is the name of the production company for Spooks. No pun intended, lol. A HINT.... don't forget to visit the Spooks website to find out about Bruce's episode in a few weeks. Here's the link again! With the NIKITA First Season DVD Set released, hopefully the 2nd season will be following soon after! THAT MEANS there may be a few extra cool bits to the Jurgen Arc. Oh such joy with such a thought! Fingers and toes crossed! July 23rd , 2003 PART 2 UPDATE - My mailman arrived with the goods today.... ENJOY!!!! Click here to view the BP GOODS! There's SO MUCH that these treats deserved their own page!

There's a COOL NEW FANFIC BY STACEY! You can read it by clicking here! LOOKING FOR BRUCE'S FILMS - CAT had asked me where she could get a hold of Bruce's other films. You can find them on eBay for the most part. Some of the "hard to get Bruce films" could possibly be found on the BP mailing list as others might share their wealth of Bruce Goodness! There's lots to be had and viewed indeed in BPland. I hope everyone enjoys my latest update. I've been having computer problems to the point where I've wanted to give one of my computers to my car as a chew toy so that it may take it around the block a few times and straighten the electronic daemon back into a well behaved computer. I am aware some of you are addicted to the site btw... lol... which in THIS case is a very good thing! I have a few more GOODIES to post in a few days, that's if my mailman brings the bp goods to me asap. The post is deciding whether to strike over here or not and I certainly do not want my Bruce goods to be tied up in some union dispute.... fingers and toes crossed that I get the goods before! AS ALWAYS THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE'S WONDERFUL COMMENTS. Will respond to everyone's emails soon, I am a bit behind because of my computer mayhem! MI- 5 was interesting to watch last night... A and E played it 4 times so I hope everyone managed to watch it. 15 more episodes until we see Bruce! I am hoping A and E will air both seasons at once since they have advertised this show quite heavily! July 11th , 2003 UPDATE - MI-5 AKA Spooks - Bruce's character's name is Mickey Kaharias which is in episode 10. I've made contact with the people from 'One Point O' and will be having a slue of goodies soon! VERY FUN! Have a good weekend everyone! July 8th , 2003 UPDATE - MI-5 AKA Spooks will be airing on A and E on July 22nd. Well, it's actually a sneak peek. You THEN can catch the show on TUESDAY NIGHTS! Please keep in mind that Bruce might be in the 2nd season and not the first, however we all know how long a BBC season is... 6 episodes or something as such. In ALL seriousness though check out the official websites to learn more about the happenings in the UK and in the US by clicking here! I don't know the episode he's in, yet. It's very cool to see people's input on Bruce being the BOND BAD BLOKE. I think seeing him beside Pierce Brosnan, if he's still Bond, would be quite something! Thanks for the broken links... as you know, it's hard to keep track of everything. I'll fix them ASAP! I DO have a few goodies heading my way and WILL share as soon as I get them. I cannot wait!!!
NEWS - Ooooohhhhhhhh Lance Henriksen is also in Bruce's latest film One Point O. Here's more Bruce trivia for you for those who are unaware. Bruce and Lance have now been involved in three films together, Operation Intercept and No Contest II (the other two films). It's very good to know they've had another opportunity to work together, it's been awhile! One Point O certainly has QUITE the casting. KUDOS to Bruce! YEAH! For those who watched the TV series Millennium a few years back, Lance was a joy to watch, such a shame that the show ended. I have a copy of Lowball heading my way so I will let everyone know what I think about the film once I've watched it. You CAN purchase the film through Amazon.com. Remember, Bruce is NOT in this film, he is an executive producer, which is very cool! Also, this film was shot in 1996 but is now being released on video so WE all can now watch the film! I've been wanting to watch this film for many many years! As the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat, well... many cats have been stunned with curiosity over the years. Hmmmm, there have been many freaky computer glitches out there in the AGWLBP world.... the BP mailing list link should work. If you are not a member of yahoo you have to sign up with them first before joining the list. Once you join, Regine is in charge of letting you into the group... heh heh, Regine.... I just thought of a nickname but I'll email it to you instead of making it public. If you are still having problems joining the list please email me your CORRECT EMAIL and I'll send an invite to the list. JOIN THE BP LIST. As for those who cannot log onto the website, I REALLY don't know what is happening. I've had to take everything off and then reload the WHOLE site so it may just take a few days for everything to settle in cyberland. The film Never Say... Never Mind is getting closer to being distributed out into the public. SOON you will be able to see the film. It's quite a fun film. Mr. Blue is a treat! A sequel is currently in the works called Moonbreaker. I just watched the latest Charlie's Angels film and if you thought those girls kicked a**, then watch out of the SBT gals. AS ALWAYS I AM VERY GRATEFUL for everyone's comments and your joy of the site! PLEASE don't forget to input with Bruce as a Bond Bad Bloke. I am VERY Curious on what everyone thinks! I
know this is Julian Sands but when I saw this photo I thought it was VERY DON'T FORGET TO SAY HELLO! June 22nd, 2003 UPDATE - Hey everyone. This is what I found on the Internet with regards to Bruce's latest film 1.0: Jope can´t attend the festival because he is currently in Hollywood preparing to shoot his first feature film 1.0, which is co-directed by Icelandic filmmaker Matti Thorsson. The film stars Udo Kier. 1.0 begins shooting June 18th in Winnipeg. Congrate´s to all. We expect a complete festival report at the next Opid Bio, since shanger is the MC. For further info, check out The Norwegian Documentary Film Festival. and onepointo.com. See you all May 7th at Vesturport. http://pages.hosting.domaindirect.com/bioreykjavik.com/english/newsapril2002.html If you check out Udo Kier on the Imdb it says the film was filming as of late April, 2003. It was shot in Romania. Ooooh Deborah Unger is also in this film. Very very cool! I don't know what Bruce's character's name is yet. Check out One Point O on the Imdb I know there is a Bruce fan out there who also likes Udo Kier. I think it's very cool that they both are in this film together! Here is the tagline to the film: A young programmer becomes a guinea pig in a major corporate advertising experiment Are you infected? June 15th, 2003
UPDATE - On June 10th Fox aired the 2nd episode to KEEN EDDIE, Horses Heir, where Bruce played the character YELLOW. You can check out the AGWLBP Keen Eddie page OR check out the official Keen Eddie website. NEWS - You can keep an eye out for two new projects Bruce has been working on. The first, is a BBC TV series called SPOOKS, which will be airing on A&E in the near future. Check out the BBC to see what this show is all about! The second, is a film called Onepointo, which did very well in Cannes this year. Check out the website. I am not sure what the film is about but it seems to be based on Nano technology being used in a scary sense. I don't know much about nanobots but it would be interesting if science would be able to integrate a healing process to them which would replace the antibiotics this world has over used as well as help with non-curable illnesses. We truly would be the bionic generation. Interesting idea and definitely a great coffee conversation.
XTRA - AGWLBP FINALLY has found a good home to reside at. It's been a long haul BUT soon the audio and video bits will be back online as well as all of the missing photographs. YEAH! I even have my old email address back! So email away boys and girls, AGWLBP is back and ready to rock n' roll! Say hello or join the BP mailing lists. Don't forget to sign my guestbook! CHEERS! XXTRA - AND the search engine now works... looking for something in this vast sea of BP knowledge... type your queery and see what results you get back! WHOO HOO JUST HIT THE OVER 100,000 HITS MARK! For the main page... I've been waiting to reach that! WOWEE....
Classic Bruce. Very lovely indeed! April 22nd, 2003 UPDATE - STEAL AKA RIDERS WILL BE THEATRICALLY RELEASED ON APRIL 25th, 2003 ACROSS CANADA. It will be released in the UK on DVD sometime in May. As for the USA, I am not sure if it will be released in the theatre or on DVD. March 13th, 2003 SAD NEWS - Philip Jones, a personable and respected writer, director and producer passed away this week. Phil directed HELLBORN, which should be released sometime this year. You can rent BACKFLASH from your local video store of which Phil wrote, directed and even had a cameo. I've seen the film and I liked it very much. Phil has a sharp sense of humour which can be seen in BACKFLASH. I Do recommend the film. It's very sad news to hear of his passing and a sad loss to the independent cinematic creative circle. February 21st, 2003 UPDATE - It must be your week because BOY do I have a treat for everyone! Click here to see a few NEW COOL Jurgen photos! Make sure you have a bottle of water beside you before viewing! Oh-la-la! February 19th, 2003 UPDATE - WHOLLY COW IT'S BEEN A LOOOONG TIME BOYS AND GIRLS! I hope everyone is having a good year so far. I know it's been a bit slow here in BP land but I am hoping it will change soon! I'm even having withdrawal from not updating the site. There are a few things in the works. SOON!!! In the meantime, for those who didn't catch Bruce on Dragnet this past Sunday here are a few images from it. You missed Bruce's Russian accent! Tres cool! My gadget for grabbing images is toast so until I get a better video card, this is all I can show to you for now. Toodle-loo for now. Lynn I am glad you are doing well and finally away from the hospital. 8 days! You ARE a trooper GIRL!
