On land, on the high seas and high in the sky, the SBT members do their best to repel the forces of evil. On their mission, they find themselves in London where, for their meritorious service to the free world, the Queen knights them as Dames.

Now, they must locate and erase a black market copy of the infamous Los Alamos hard drive. They must prevent INTERR, the nefarious international terrorist organization, and one of their key representatives, Hakim (John Rhys-Davies), from possessing the top secret schematics for high level nuclear triggering mechanisms and weapons system.

The SBT are trained in close quarters combat, improvised weapons and modern tactical warfare methods by the extremely secretive CSD, the Covert Situations Division of the Swedish Military. They’re certified master divers and also qualified as a UDT, Underwater Demolition Team and have worked in conjunction with the British SAS, Special Airborne Service, and a United States Marine Recon team.

The mysterious Mr. Blue (Bruce Payne) is the founder and CEO of Blue, Ltd, a think-tank for NATO countries. SWEEPERS (1999) *

 Bruce Payne plays Cecil Hopper.

The movie Sweepers has been filmed in New York city, New York and South Africa. The movie has been directed by Keoni Waxman.

Production dates -August 1997. It has been released on video in Iceland, Jan 12, 1999 and South Korea, Feb. 6, 1999. The budget for this film was 12.5 million.

Here is a review of the film by someone who has seen the film.

Let's face it: a good action movie doesn't need a particularly strong story-line, as long as there's enough there to serve as a launching point for the action. Same goes for the script. There really doesn't need to be a whole lot to it, as long as it helps develop a few distinctive characters. These elements really just need to stay out of the way of the action.

Unfortunately, in too many action films, these elements do get in the way. We end up focusing on the stupid things characters say and do rather than enjoying the action. That's what happens with the Dolph Lundgren film, Sweepers. And to make things worse -- much worse -- this second rate action film doesn't even do the action particularly well.

It starts in 1993 Angola with Christian Erickson (Lundgren) heading off to work removing land mines. He has brought his 11-year-old son along to the war zone, for no reason we can understand. Ah, but there is a reason. The kid is there to get blown up when rebels attack. Needless to say, Erickson is upset by this turn of events and he fades into the Angolan countryside, flask of booze in hand.

The next thing we know, it's 1998 and an FBI bomb squad expert (Claire Stansfield) is searching for a particularly dangerous kind of land mine. The word is that it's been seen in Angola, so off she goes, soon ending up with Erickson in tow and a whole bunch of bad guys trying to make sure they don't get out of the country with their secret new weapon.

Apart from the ridiculous idea that a mines removal person would bring his son along, there's plenty more about Sweepers that doesn't make sense. If you don't bother following it, you'll likely have no problem also ignoring the vacuous dialogue. That leaves the action, which is pretty lame. There are explosions and people flying in all directions, but it really looks like something from stuntman school. Soldiers are blown up, and conveniently launched in the air, without so much as a tattered pant leg to show for it. People fall off roofs, doing perfect stuntman flips.

The biggest problem with Sweepers is that it's just plain dull. Lundgren and the rest of the cast are uninteresting, the story is predictable, the action is lame, and there's nothing to hold our attention.

WARLOCK: THE END OF INNOCENCE (1999)

See the Features-page for more info.

Bruce Payne plays The Warlock.

RAVAGER (1997) *

Bruce Payne plays Cooper Wayne.

In the future, the greatest enemy is our own invention. The lives of the crew and passengers of a transport ship are at risk when they accidentally unleash the deadly bio-weapon called Ravager.

As always, Bruce is a treat to watch but this film was my least favorite out of all of the films he has done. However Bruce got first billing in this film. If you need a Bruce fix I would recommend watching it but the story is not my favorite.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Yancy Butler, Juliet Landau.

FACE THE EVIL a.k.a No Contest 2 (1997) *

Bruce Payne plays Jack.

What happens when one woman stumbles into a terrorist plot that will leave no witnesses? What happens when this woman finds herself face-to-face with evil? After accidentally thwarting an art galley heist, Sharon finds herself in the middle of a hostage crisis while one man plans to smuggle a load of Nazi nerve gas to the highest bidder.

Bruce is a good-guy in this film. He is sensitive and non-agressive and tries to survive along with the rest of the hostages. He has third billing in this film and it was a treat to see him. The story was not a favorite of mine but was tolerable. Shannon Tweed has all of the action.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Lance Henriksen, Shannon Tweed.

 KOUNTERFEIT a.k.a. Money Crush (1996) *

Bruce Payne plays Frankie.

A seasoned ex-criminal is drawn into a counterfeit money deal that turns into a shooting spree. During the incident, and undercover cop was killed and his sister is determined to find the killer.

Frankie is an ex-crimainal who owns a strip club. He isn't the bad guy in the film and tries to be helpful when he can. Bruce looks great in his pair of jeans in this film.

Cast: Bruce Payne,Gil Bernardy, Corbin Bernsen, Rob Stewart, Elizabeth Gracen.

 AURORA: OPERATION INTERCEPT (1995)*

Bruce Payne plays Gordon Pruitt.

A US government scientist, who developed technology to cause enemy planes to crash, is murdered. His beautiful daughter, Fancesca, is convinced the murder was a government plot and threatens to use the revolutionary technology, Aurora, to crash civilian passenger planes unless her father's killer is turned over to her.

Pilot Gordon Pruitt, after a bloody battle, daringly escapes with the second Aurora in an attempt to head her off and save the nation's capital. A fast and fierce high-tech air battle is waged and the ultimate showdown is set in motion.

Bruce is a family man in this film and looks great in it. He is great to watch, as always, but I didn't enjoy the special effect graphics. The budget must have been minimal for the F/X.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Natasha Andreichenko, Lance Henriksen, Corbin Bernsen.

 ONE MAN'S JUSTICE a.k.a One Tough Bastard (1995) *

Bruce Payne plays Karl Savak.

When his wife and daughter are brutally murdered, John North takes justice in his own hands and ends up waging a one-man war against the system. Caught in a deadly web of deceit, he tackles the mean streets of Los Angeles, infiltrates a lethal underworld and takes on the FBI in a thrilling display of courage, cunning and hand-to-hand combat. He doesn't want explanations. He doesn't want apologies. He wants revenge.

Bruce has long hair and in swears a lot in this film. Every other shot he has a cig in his mouth. He does a great job on making his audience believe that he is a jerk. There is a lot of footage of Bruce in this film and his character has a large fighting scene towards the end of the film.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Brian Bossworth, Jef Kober, DeJuan Guy.

 THE CISCO KID (1994) *

Bruce Payne plays St.Martin Dupre.

The Cisco kid, one of the most dashing and romantic heroes of all time rides again. Along with his wacky sidekick, Pancho, this odd couple gets involved in some extremely exciting, outrageously funny escapades. From their hilarious, hair-raising escapade from a firing squad to Cisco's dazzling rodeo stunts to a ballroom brawl, there's never a dull moment with these to crazy bandido's. Narrow escapes, romances and military battles keep Cisco and Pancho busy as they try to save Mexico from the unwelcome French who occupied the country in 1867. As if double-dealing gun runners, greedy government officials and shifty Frenchmen weren't enough, Cisco has to face competition for the lovely ladies who find him irresistible.

Bruce charms us with a French accent in this film. This is a fun film to watch.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Jimmy Smits, Cheech Marin, Ron Perlman, Sadie Frost.

 FULLECLIPSE (1993) *

Bruce Payne plays Adam Garou.

In Los Angeles, the criminals are one step away from taking over the city. Drugs and guns are all over the streets. It'll take a special kind of cop to put an end to it all. Max Dire is a special kind of cop, which is why he's invited to join an elite squad - a secret police unit- authorized to do whatever it takes to put an end to crime. Their leader Adam Garou has a secret method for dealing with crooks, a serum which when injected into his gang of rogue cops, gives them extraordinary strength and speed. A drug that gives them the power of wolves, and a deadly appetite for crime. Max is suspicious of Garou's renegade police force, but is soon seduced into joining them by their most beautiful member, Casey Spencer. As Max soon discovers, there's a dark side to Garou's detective work and he must decide if he's going to run with the pack or stand against them.

Bruce's role may be scary at times to some people but if you love his darkside then this is the film to watch. He has added the Payne touch to his role where every detail is absorbed with joy and excitement.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Mario Van Peebles, Patsy Kensit.

H.P. LOVECRAFTS NECRONOMICON - BOOK OF THE DEAD (1993) *

Bruce Payne plays Edward De La Pore.

There are three short films in this video and Bruce stars in the first story. Haunted by the past, a man ( Bruce Payne) returns to his inherited hotel only to find a monstrous demon lurking in the catacombs. He has lost his wife and tries to bring her back to life and that is where the horror begins.

Bruce looks great and acts well in this film but I cannot say it was one of my favorites. I love a good horror film and Bruce has so many to choose from, however I can't glorify the gore in this one.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Belinda Bauer, Bess Meyer, David Warner.

  PASSENGER 57 (1992) *

Bruce Payne plays Charles Rane.

The safest way to travel is by air, the FAA says. But the FAA never figured the risk with Charles Rane on board. " The Rane of Terror", the insane mastermind behind four recent terrorist attacks. Soon there will be a fifth- and that's bad news for passengers on flight 163. But there is good news, too : the man in seat 57.

Wesley Snipes earns his action-hero wings in this exciting, dead on airborne adventure that packs a wallop. He plays John Cutter, an undercover airline security operative who steps into the lavatory and reemerges to discover Rane ( Bruce Payne) and his gane have taken control. Cutter's next move is clear. Do. Or be done to.

This is Bruce's largest and best well-known role to date. Playing the role of Rane brought attention to Bruce's talents in North America.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Wesley Snipes, Tom Sizemore.

 SWITCH (1991) *

Bruce Payne plays The Devil.

Steve Brooks is a notorious lady's man. He's got a good friend Walter, but a lot of enemies among the women he's two-timed- which is why three of them gang together to murder him. But God isn't sure if Steve's ready for Heaven, but only if he can find one woman who truly loves him for who he is. And there is a catch. To be sure Steve doesn't use his manly good looks and charm, God sends him back as a gorgeous woman. Now Steve is Amanda and Amanda is Steve- about to find out what it is like to be a good-looking woman being looked at by a world of not so-good-guys

Bruce is a sexy devil in this film. He has a short role in this film but he uses every second to show us his talent..

Cast: Bruce Payne, Ellen Barkin, Jimmy Smits, Perry King, JoBeth Williams, Lorraine Bracco.

HOWLING VI: THE FREAKS (1991) *

Bruce Payne plays Harker.

Welcome to a realm of terror no " Howling" film has dared to take you to before. Since the original series' werewolves have stalked Transylvania, Australia and the great North American outdoors. The scene shifts to a carnival sideshow of hideous freaks. There, a tortured man huddles in a cage, fearing the moment a vampire's chant will transform into a werewolf.

Bruce plays the vampire and does another fine job is scaring his audience with his intense stare and body stance. I enjoyed watching him as a vampire.

Cast: Bruce Martyn Payne, Brendan Hughes, Michele Matheson, Sean Gregory Sullivan, Antonio Fargas.

 PYRATES(1991) *

Bruce Payne plays Liam.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick star in this sexy, fiery romantic comedy about a couple who meet on a crowded dance floor and experience an immediate and combustible physical attraction for each other. In fact, their body chemistry is so hot that sparks fly and fires start wherever they make love- the dance club, a closet, even a teepee. Realizing the explosive nature of their relationship and the smoldering trail they leave wherever they go, they put their love on ice. But, when two people have such overwhelming hots for each other, it's only a matter of time before they're once again burning down the town.

Bruce plays the best friend to Keven Bacon's character. He is a musician and has a new girlfriend practically every other day. The question that arises is " what is the pattern on his boxer shorts? "

Bruce has a great role and it should not be missed if you haven't seen this film.

Cast: Bruce Martyn Payne, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Kristin Dattilo.

FOR QUEEN AND COUNTRY (1989) *

Bruce Payne plays Colin.

Bruce plays Denzel's characters best friend, but he is also involved with drugs. Bruce's character is willing to help out his friend in need but there is a price to pay.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Denzel Washington, Dorian Healy, Stella Gonet

SILENCE LIKE GLASS a.k.a. Zwei Frauen (1989) *

Bruce Payne plays Dr. Burton.

Beautiful, dedicated Eva and bitter Claudia are two young women who befriend each other under adverse circumstances. Throughout their ups and downs, high hopes and broken dreams, they rely on each other for understanding and support. And together with love, humor and determination, they face the greatest battle of their young lives.

Bruce plays the doctor and even though he pops in every once in a while his presence is strong. He truly shows concern and compassion for his patients.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Jami Gertz, Martha Plimpton, George Peppard, James Remar, Rip Thorn.

 WONDERLAND a.k.a The Fruit Machine (1988) *

Bruce Payne plays Echo.

This compelling Thriller sets off from the heart of Liverpool when two young boys witness a gangland murder at the Fruit Machine nightclub run by Annabelle. Fearing for their lives at the hands of the hired killer they head for Brighton. But as Michael continues to hustle for a living, Eddie dreams on. Both of them totally unprepared for the violent arrival of the ominous killer and his effect on their lives.

Bruce plays the killer in this film. He has no speaking lines but it was a treat to see his muscular body and strong gaze that could freak anyone out if they were being chased by him. However this story was a hard one to watch from beginning to end. It isn't a highly recommended story as I found it boring, but Bruce was not!

Cast: Bruce Payne, Emile Charles, Tony Forsyth, Robert Stephens, Clare Higgins.

Here is another review about Wonderland:

British director Philip Saville's first feature, SHADEY, dealt in part with its title character's desire for a sex change and his struggle with society to be who really is. In WONDERLAND, Saville works from a script by LETTER TO BREZHNEV writer Fred Clarke, examining the constraints and societal pressures that prevent homosexuals from freely expressing their lifestyle. The film focuses on the platonic friendship between two gay teenagers in Liverpool: Forsyth, a street-smart survivor, and Charles, who is browbeaten by his homophobic father but understood by his mother. She watches movies endlessly on her VCR and claims to have been auditioned by John Schlesinger for a role in DARLING. Forsyth persuades Charles to run away, and their first stop is a shimmering gay disco called the Fruit Machine. There they witness the after-hours murder of Coltrane, the burly transvestite who runs the club and who has refused to knuckle under to local gangsters. His knife-wielding martial-arts murderer spots the boys and follows them to Brighton, where they are the guests of a famous but aging opera singer whose post-farewell-performance party they have happened upon. In Brighton the opera singer seduces Forsyth, while Charles visits Wonderland, a Sea World-style attraction where he is horrified to see how inhumanely the show's star performer, a dolphin, is treated. Charles breaks into Wonderland at night and, stripping off his clothes, does a joyous underwater ballet with the dolphin, which metamorphoses into a handsome young man about whom Charles has fantasized. His idyllic interlude is spoiled by the kung-fu killer, who stabs Charles before Forsyth, arriving not quite in the nick of time, retaliates. While Charles lies dying, Forsyth, aided by an animal rights activist, spirits away the dolphin and sets it free in the ocean.

Part thriller, part TURTLE DIARY, and part MY BEAUTIFUL LAUNDRETTE, WONDERLAND makes clear the symbolic connection between the oppression of the dolphin and that of gays. Unfortunately, despite his noble aspirations director Saville has failed to create a particularly involving film. There are, to be sure, some interesting moments--most notably Charles and the dolphin's beautifully shot and choreographed midnight swim. There are also relatively strong performances by the young leads--Emile Charles, who conveys a disarming naïveté, and Tony Forsyth--and an especially good one from Robbie Coltrane as the transvestite proprietor of the Fruit Machine. However, Saville doesn't develop his characters or the chemistry between them enough to make his young protagonists' concerns compelling in their own right. In striving to make a statement, he has applied his symbolism with a very heavy hand indeed. The film's thriller element is also sabotaged by Saville's failure to maintain a mood of suspense when it is most necessary, and his pacing in general is uneven. Saville is to be credited with taking on a sensitive subject and approaching it so earnestly, but it's unfortunate that he wasn't able to make a more interesting and coherent movie. Songs include "(We Ain't Ever Gonna Be) Respectable" (Stock, Aitken, Waterman, performed by Mel & Kim), "You Think You're a Man" (Deane, Miller), "I'm So Beautiful" (Stock, Aitken, Waterman, performed by Divine), "Fruit Machine" (Stock, Aitken, Waterman, performed by Paul Lekakis), "Male Stripper" (Paul Zone, performed by Zone), "Cocoon" (performed by Time Rider), "Move Closer" (Nelson, performed by Sandy Stevens), and "Summertime Blues" (Cochran, Capehart).

  SMART MONEY (1988) *

In this high stakes, high-tension stock market game, everybody plays to win. Some play by the rules, some break them and some make up new ones as they go along. Either way no one can be trusted.

Together with a sexy arcade wizard named Fast Eddie and freak, a 14-year old computer hack who's too smart for his own good; they decide to do a little corporate raiding and make themselves a fortune in the process.

Bruce had a large role in this film. This is a highly recommended film for all Bruce fans and admirers. I think Bruce had a lot of fun with this role.

 ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS (1986) *

Bruce Payne plays Flikker.

Celebrated rock-flick director Julien Temple dazzles the audience with this story of talented teenagers Colin and Suzette, set at the exhilarating peak of youth counter culture in 1958 London. Suzette wants prestige and wealth, and dumps Colin for the glamorous company of high-fashion socialites. Colin is crushed and longs for the day when he and his true love find their way back to each other.

Bruce played a racist in this film. His hair was slicked back and looked like he would scrap with the best of fighters.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Eddie O'Connell, Patsy Kensit, David Bowie, James Fox, Ray Davies.

   MISS MARPLE " NEMESIS " (1986)  *

Bruce Payne plays Michael Rafiel.

In Nemesis, not only does Miss Marple have to solve a crime, but she has to discover what it is. It begins with a cryptic letter from a recently deceased friend asking her to right an injustice, but giving no details - no who, what when or where. Her only starting point is a ticket for a bus tour of historic homes. In true Agatha Christie fashion, not all of the passengers are on the tour by chance. And when one of them ends up dead, Miss Marple is drawn into circumstances which grow ever more strange and sinister.

Bruce had a great presence in this film. Was charming with a surprise ending. His character's dog is his best friend.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Joan Hickson, Peter Tilbury, Frank Gattiff, Barbara Franceschi.

  SOLARBABIES (1986) *

Their quest for the fabulous orb takes them for an adventure-filled journey through harsh deserts and strange and violent communities, with the relentless and evil E-Police in hot pursuit.

Bruce lets his wildside show in this film. His pearly whites shone brightly.

BILLY THE KID AND THE GREEN-BAIZE VAMPIRE (1985)

Bruce Payne plays T.O. ( The One ).

Billy Kid (Daniels) is the up-and-coming kid of the snooker scene while Maxwell Randall (Armstrong) is the seven times world champion with a taste for the demonic. TO (Bruce Payne), Kid's manager, is in a fix — he owes money to the wrong people but can see himself straight if he can fix a match between the two. Using the services of hackette, Louise Gold, to stir up the grudge, the film reaches its climax as the two players meet with the agreement that the loser breaks his cue and retires forever. As the final match looms, there can only be one king of the green baize. Fenton's score, described as, "sending up everything from Dylan to opera," is sung by a total of 45 voices but Daniels, Armstrong and the rest of the cast sing live in the film, not to recorded playback, wearing earpieces that fed them the basic backing track. This gives the film an extra edge and captures the energy and excitement of a live performance.

Billy Kid is seventeen. He could be the best snooker player in the world. Only Maxwell Randall, seven times world champion, disagrees. The young Cowboy versus the old Vampire: there has to be a final match, and the loser must break his cue forever!

The Sunday Times "Phil Daniels and Alun Armstrong are to be congratulated for clearly potting their own blacks and it is to the credit of three such talents as Trevor Preston, George Fenton [composer] and Alan Clarke that they had a go at something risky and original."

Roisin (roisin.moriarty@gecapital.com) London, England Date: 6 January 1999 Summary: Wonderfully surreal, bizarrely humourous and sod all to do with vampires. This is no ordinary musical. The plot is simple enough: Maxwell Randall (the Green Baize Vampire) is six times world snooker champion and Billy Kid is the cocky young upstart looking to steal his crown. Add to them T.O. (The One), Billy's wide boy manager, the Wednesday Man, to whom T.O. owes a large gambling debt, and Miss Sullivan, a trouble making journalist, and there you have it (apart from two sets of hangers on who make up the chorus). Basically, Maxwell wants to set up a grudge match (the loser will never play professional snooker again), the Wednesday Man tricks T.O. into accepting the challenge by assuring him that Maxwell will not be "at his best", and Billy finds that he has been set up to lose. What makes this peculiar film work is the stark, to-the-point direction of Alan Clarke (responsible for such hard hitting productions as "Scum" and "The Firm") the rock/opera influenced music of the highly respected composer George Fenton ("The Madness of King George", "Cry Freedom", "Gandhi" etc.) and the clever scripting and original lyrics of Trevor Preston. Take into account three wonderfully tongue-in-cheek central performances from Phil Daniels (Billy), Alun Armstrong (Maxwell) and Bruce Payne (T.O.) and you have the ingredients for what I am quite happy to admit is my all time favourite film. There are those who may say that Clarke, Fenton, Daniels, Armstrong and Payne must have taken leave of their senses to agree to do such a downright weird project in the first place (I have a feeling that at least one of the above might even agree with those detractors) but I can't see anything wrong with a musical about snooker that includes references to Bela Lugosi and arcade games, has characters tangoing about and shooting snooker balls into pockets with the help of a revolver and basically, sends itself up with obvious glee. I'd be the first to admit that the three lead actors have all done a great deal more admirable work than this. I've seen Alun Armstrong in countless stage productions and he never fails to impress. Bruce Payne was nothing short of breathtaking in Steven Berkoff's "Greek" and Phil Daniels as Alex in the RSC's "A Clockwork Orange" is still one of the most outstanding performances I've ever seen from any actor, on any stage, anywhere. However, I will always remain particularly fond of the off-the-wall characters that the three brought to life in this wonderful film and I don't care what anyone else says, I think it's just great. If you haven't already seen "Billy the Kid & the Green Baize Vampire" you'll be extremely lucky if you ever do. It was first shown on UK television in the mid-eighties and has, I think, been repeated just once. Zenith Productions sold the rights (or whatever it is they do) some time ago and, search as I may, I've been unable to locate it. I'm just grateful that I had the forethought to tape it when Channel Four showed it all those years ago and only hope that my VCR never gets hungry and chews it up! My enthusiasm for this film probably does no more than give it a one woman cult following but if there are any more odd little "BTK..." fans out there, please add your comments; it'd be comforting to know that I'm not alone.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Alun Armstrong, Phil Daniels, Eve Ferret, Johnny Dennis.

 OXFORD BLUES (1984) *

Bruce Payne plays Peter.

Oxford University is one of the most respected, tradition-bound institutions of higher learning in the world. So what is an irreverent, fast-talking young American hustler named Nick Di Angelo doing here? Pursuing the girl of his dreams, getting into a little trouble, and learning a lot about growing up.

Rob Lowe stars as Nick in this romantic comedy/drama about a self-assured natural athlete from Las Vegas who wants more than anything else to attend Oxford. Because he wants, even more than he wants Oxford, to win the love of the beautiful, aristocratic Lady Victoria Wingate, an architectural student he's been admiring from across the ocean vis magazine covers and newspaper interviews. Nick is determined to meet Victoria that when he places 12th on the waiting list for Oxford, he pays a computer wiz $1500 to bump him up to slot number three.

Bruce looked great with his buzz hair cut. He has a wonderful role even though he isn't a main character. You can see his energy and sincerity. Highly recommended if you have not seen it.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Rob Lowe, Ally Sheedy, Amanda Pays, Julian Sands Gail Strickland.

THE KEEP (1983)  *

Bruce Payne plays Border Guard #2
.

This superb gothic thriller will grip you with it's combination of horror, romance and the supernatural. It is WW2 in German-occupied Rumania. Nazi soldiers have been sent to garrison a mysterious fortress, but a nightmarish discovery is soon made. The Keep was not built to keep anything out. The massive structure was, in fact, built to keep something in...

Bruce, even though only seen for a brief time, he was great to see in uniform.

Cast: Bruce Payne, Scott Glenn, Alberta Watson, Jurgen Prochnow, Gabriel Byrne, Ian McKellen, Jurgen Pronchnow.

 PRIVATES ON PARADE (1982) *

Bruce Payne plays Kevin Cartwright.

The members of the SADUSEA fall in and out of love while trying to dodge Malayan communist bullets in the late 1940's. Not only that, they have to contend with a looney, bible bashing major ( John Cleese) who creates far more danger than any of the jungle inhabitants. Only gay captain Dennis Quilley seems capable of coping with him be even he isn't aware of the cowardly Michael Elphick selling arms to the natives.

Bruce is dressed up as a drag queen in this film. However you can still enjoy his youthful masculine self in this film.

Cast: Bruce Payne, John Cleese, Dennis Quiliey, Michael Elphick.
