Six Degrees between Bruce Payne and Kevin Bacon!

Most people have heard of the board game called 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon'. There's also a book which shares the same title. I own both of these items and there's no reference to Bruce whatsoever.

Bruce and Kevin were in the film called PYRATES, which also starred Kyra Sedgwick.

Kevin costarred with Gary Oldman in CRIMINAL LAW. Payne and Oldman were featured in a cover interview and photo spread for THE FACE magazine (not a film but worth mentioning).

Kyra Sedgwick was in HEART AND SOULS with Tom Sizemore. Tom Sizemore worked with Bruce in PASSENGER 57 alongside Elizabeth Hurley.

Elizabeth Hurley worked with Bruce Campbell in SERVING SARA. Campbell worked with Willem Dafoe in SPIDERMAN. Dafoe worked with Annabella Sciorra in THE NEW ROSE HOTEL. Anna worked with Denis Leary in UNDERWORLD. Leary worked with Juliette Lewis in NATURAL BORN KILLERS. Lewis starred with Steven Dorff in THE AUDITION. Dorff worked with Bruce in RIDERS. That's indeed 6 degrees of Bruce!

Kevin Bacon and Gary Sinise were in APOLLO 13 together. Sinise was in BEING JOHN MALCOVICH alongside Byrne Piven. Piven was also in PYRATES with Bruce and Kevin.

Hilary Swank worked with Bruce Payne in KOUNTERFEIT.

Swank also worked with Cate Blanchett in THE GIFT. Blanchett was in THE LORD OF THE RINGS with John Rhys-Davies. John also worked on the James Bond spoof NEVER SAY NEVER MIND with Bruce. John and Bruce also worked on the film BRITANNIC together alongside Edward Atterton.

Atterton worked on the TV series THE CHILDREN OF DUNE which also starred Steven Berkoff. Steven and Bruce worked together in RIDERS. Roy Dupuis worked at different times with Bruce and Steven on the TV series LA FEMME NIKITA.

Steven Berkoff worked with Malcolm McDowell in A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. McDowell worked with Deborah Unger in BETWEEN STRANGERS. Deborah worked together with Bruce in the new film 1.0. She also worked with James Spader in CRASH.

James Spader worked with Jack Nicholson on WOLF. Nicholson worked with Michael Gough in BATMAN. Gough worked with Christopher Walken in SLEEPY HOLLOW. Walken worked with Richard Harris in Julius Caesar. Richard Harris worked with Bruce in the film THE APOCALYPSE. That's five degrees of Bruce!

Richard Harris worked with Robert Duvall in WRESTLING EARNEST HEMINGWAY. Duvall worked with Gary Oldman on THE SCARLET LETTER. Oldman worked with Milla Jovovich in THE FIFTH ELEMENT. Milla worked with Julian Sands in THE MILLION DOLLAR HOTEL. Sands worked with Bruce in OXFORD BLUES.

Julian also worked with Ellen Barkin in MERCY. Barkin worked with Bruce in the comedy SWITCH. Ellen also worked with Bacon in DINER.
